My fiancé at the time and I were looking for a wedding coordinator. My sister in law recommended Urban Elegance namely Amanda as the point of contact. Upon our first meeting, it was important for Amanda to get to know our personalities and what our vision was for our wedding. She in turn used this information to create the wedding of our dreams. We are glad we chose Urban Elegance as Amanda was detail oriented, resourceful, mindful of our budget, and kept our desires in the fore front to create a wedding event to remember. My husband and I are pleased with how things turned out after a year of planning to include visits to venues, monthly meetings, consistent correspondence via phone, email and video calls.
On our wedding day, our guests described Amanda and her team as welcoming and professional. The ceremony as being filled with love and well organized. The reception as elegant, fun and just a joyous and celebratory atmosphere.
The culmination of planning because of Amanda resulted in such an unforgettable experience for us, our family and friends.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Amanda and Nikki of Urban Elegance as our Wedding Coordinators. As I am typing this review, words cannot truly express how amazing these ladies are, but I will do my absolute best in hopes that you will either hire them or refer them to your family or friends.
To say that I am very picky and hard to please is an understatement but here I am singing the praises of Urban Elegance. From day one, with the consultation they remained professional, organized, resourceful and responsive. To have successfully planned ANY event during the COVID pandemic, without missing a beat says a lot! These ladies not only pivoted quickly to ensure that they operated within the CDC guidelines, but they also kept us a step ahead of potential changes needed for our event. The budget spreadsheet, vendor recommendations, contract reviews, planning sessions and keen attention to detail made all the difference and was definitely a stress reliever! Urban Elegance over exceeded our expectations, our wedding day was PERFECT!

Urban Elegance was spectacular. We could not have hoped for a more dedicated, flexible and resourceful wedding planner. Urban Elegance was originally tasked with planning our nuptials in Florida which was a real challenge since it all had to be planned remotely with a few visits by us and UE. But little did we know the challenge was about to get a lot larger.
Suddenly, the coronavirus pandemic was declared which made our planned 250+ gathering impossible. While we were given the option to reschedule, we decided this date was ours and no one not even a once in 100 year virus would take that away from us. UE was committed to supporting our decision to make it happen despite the obstacles.
Upon UE’s recommendation, we pivoted from Florida to the DC area where we reside. In a little less than 6 weeks, UE found us a venue, negotiated a “Covid” friendly contract and planned a socially distant wedding with 48 of our family members and close friends. From providing masks, to providing seat maps with appropriate spacing, to managing guest concerns about Covid, to drawing on UE’s network to find covid-safe last minute vendors, UE effortless added these additional details to an already naturally detailed event. Despite all of this, UE insured that it remained personalized, romantic, memorable and just simply beautiful. We loved it! Thank you Urban Elegance.

It would be an understatement to say that the 2009 Inaugural events held at Ibiza Nightclub in Washington, DC for RIAA and the Montana State Inaugural Ball were a monumental success. Nikki and Amanda, I would like to extend my gratitude for coordinating the day of my wedding. It was truly a success and I would like the whole world to know that you did such a wonderful job! Your attention to details are impeccable and your vision is incredible. My day was worry free, thanks to you both. You had everything ready and prepared from Tylenol for my headache to umbrellas for the rainy day. Everything was well coordinated from the church rehearsal up to the end of the reception. You both did a wonderful job documenting our meetings and keeping us up to date on tasks. Thank you for being so patient with us! When we were announced in the reception, I was totally amazed how beautiful the ball room was. The colors of the linens, chair covers, and table arrangements made the room look elegant. You were right, having the chair covers made a big difference! Everyone that attended commented on how beautiful the wedding was. As a groom, I was initially skeptical about needing an event planner for my wedding. After going through the experience, I can't say enough about the service we received from Urban Elegance. Nikki and Amanda provided much needed assistance, from initial planning, all the way through final cleanup. Their attention to detail and suggestions were critical to making our wedding look and feel like a fairytale. Their project planning helped me and my bride focus on the important tasks and kept everything on schedule. The vendor management service alleviated most of the wedding party stress, making the ceremony and party enjoyable for everyone. In summary, I can't thank them enough for all the services they provided to make my wedding a resounding success.
